Parent Education Session- Children with Special Needs
Mark Your Calendars!
This opportunity is for parents to learn more about the local educational programs for children with special needs and the transition planning that occurs. Sometimes this could be a very challenging time and we want to ensure that families receive the information needed to make an informed decision about their child’s education. Topics include IPRCS, IEPs, case conferences, as well as school visits. It is also an opportunity to meet other parents who are preparing for this very important transition in their child’s life.
Date: Tuesday, December 4th, 2012
Speakers: There will be representation from all 4 school boards to give the parents an opportunity to ask specific questions in order to make a choice of school for their child.
Time: 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Location: St-Francis School, 641 Lilac Street, Sudbury ON
